Cafes around the world
It’s been a globetrotting week in cafe features here at Sprudge. The Build-Outs of Coffee took us to not one but two new coffee shops in the UK, Cornershop in Maccelsfield and Etude Coffee in Bungay, as well as a quick stopover Stateside at Mnemonic Coffee in San Diego. And to top it all off, we took a cafe tour of New Delhi to learn more about one of India’s most exciting developing coffee scenes.

Keurig Dr. Pepper, the Frisco, Texas-based beverage conglomerate, announced a new “strategic partnership” this week with Philadelphia’s La Colombe Coffee Roasters, by which they mean they purchased 33% of the company for a cool $300 million. This makes KDP the second-largest stakeholder behind majority owner, Chobani’s Hamdi Ulukaya.
